How my journey began

My journey into becoming an Abdominal therapist began about 21 years ago. After experiencing my own personal fertility challenges, I won a massage treatment in a raffle at a local event. Who knew that this raffle ticket would be life changing in every aspect of my world.

This abdominal therapy treatment was instrumental in me having my second and third child. After the birth of my third child, I suffered a prolapse, which was treated and helped enormously and eventually healed completely by the Abdominal work I was receiving at that time.

I fell in love with this work, so much so, I decided I wanted to train as an Abdominal Therapist.

In 2003 My new start took me to the Rayworth college where I trained in anatomy, physiology and massage. In 2005 I then went onto complete the self-care course in the UK, followed in 2007 by the professional training, then finally to America, in 2008 where I finished my certification with Rosita Arvigo the founder of the technique. I was also fortunate to be able to travel to Belize and take part in the spiritual trainings, again with Rosita. I completed the advanced pregnancy training in 2018.

Tucked away in the surrey hills, I work from my tranquil cabin in my garden.

What People Are Saying

A friend recommended Fi to me and at my first session I found Fi to be warm, totally reassuring and confident that she would be able to help restart and regulate my cycle. Fi gives a relaxing massage whilst explaining what she is doing and why as well as providing lots of support and advice for after care. I could immediately feel the benefits from seeing Fi and after three sessions I'm happily pregnant. K.D 2016

I have been seeing Fiona Wilkinson on and off now since my first pregnancy 7 years ago. I can honestly say that each treatment has been a unique and wonderful experience. During these sessions I have felt nurtured, comfortable and safe and have left her cosy cabin feeling incredible and well informed. She has wonderful hands and a fascinating amount of knowledge about her skill.

I was very pleased with my Abdominal session with Fiona.

It was explained well and she took time to allow for questions, as well as time to relax and settle; before and after the treatment.

Her space has a lovely atmosphere and is warm and comfortable. The first session is gentle, (but very relaxing!) so it is reassuring if you have not tried it before, as you’ll know what to expect for next time. To end the treatment, she explained the self-care thoroughly and I was given my own supply of castor oil in a nicely presented bag. Thank you!

Sept 2019

I had been suffering with an abdominal and rectal prolapse following a bad fall resulting in a serious pelvic injury..I had managed with a pelvic ring but it soon became clear this was no permanent solution. I have to admit to being anxious especially as I had to permanently remove the ring which had become some security. However my fears were soon allayed. Fiona was kind and gentle as well as extremely competent-a winning combination in a therapist. The improvement was remarkable. It is now more than five years later and I have still avoided any sort of surgery or allopathic treatment and have yet to miss my pelvic ring. My treatments have sometimes varied in frequency according to need. Fiona is very generous with her knowledge and unlike many therapists who closely guard their knowledge shares and gives self care exercises that really do work.

I can honestly say it has changed my life. I feel far more confident as being unsure of one’s body can really affect one’s whole life.

I would urge anyone who suffers from a similar problem to give it a chance – like me you may have everything to gain.
